Shipping:
We ship by the safest means possible. We use reputable, worldwide air carriers - TNT and DHL. The art is packed appropriately for transport. Items containing glass as well as pottery and sculptures must usually be crated at some additional expense. Prints and other works of Art that are not framed are shipped in a cylinder that is sealed. Timber Carvings, Tapa Cloth, Basketware and other items made from natural materials are all sprayed for health and quarantine purposes and a “Certificate of Compliance” is supplied with the export documentation.
Shipping Charges:
We do not make money on shipping and make every attempt to find the least expensive, safest way to you. We include the cost of professional packaging in the purchase price of the item. The air freight or shipping charge is determined by the area or zone of the delivery destination. The online “shopping cart” facility will prompt you for the destination and address details which will calculate the shipping for you. Please note the price of shipping may have little relevance to the value of the art. A small expensive painting may be much cheaper to ship than a large poster framed in glass. To give the buyer a clue to charges, we have included some examples below (quoted in US$ Dollars). Please note this is an indication only as charges may vary.
- Susan Turner Photograph (356 × 279mm) - incl. matt/backing board: $45 to Australia, $53 to Germany.
- Daniel Waswas Print (420mm x 550mm) - rolled/cylinder: $45 to Australia, $50 to the UK, $47 to Singapore.

If the outside container shows damage:

- Try to open it in the driver’s presence, if not at least note the damage when signing for it.
- If possible, photograph the outside of the container.
- If the art is undamaged, worry no more and hang it on the wall.
- If the art is damaged, call us immediately.
- Keep all packing materials.
- Do not handle the art unnecessarily, as this could exaggerate the damage.
- We will contact you on how to proceed.
